Mt. Hood Elopement

June 12, 2020

Allison and Adam originally had plans to elope in Vietnam, but when 2020 happened, they pivoted and decided to have a teeny, tiny elopement at Mt. Hood!

Who: Allison & Adam

What: Super Intimate Elopement. I’m talkin’ me, the couple, the officiant

When: June 4, 2020

Where: Mt. View Orchards, Mt. Hood

Why: Come on, you know why!

A little tequila, an incredible view of Mt. Hood, and a whole lotta love. There’s really nothing more you need for a perfect, intimate ceremony. Allison and Adam were the first couple I ever took couples photos of, so I was so excited when it came time to tie the know!

The couple invited a close friend to officiate, and we headed to this secluded spot in an orchard to have a quick, intimate sharing of vows.

Mt. View Orchards has the sweetest, most intimate space for weddings, and in this case, elopements. We were in and out within an hour, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. We took pictures all around the property, under the orchard trees, next to the rustic bar.

The couple later hosted a sweet backyard celebration where they finally got to party with family and friends!

Just a heads up: while this wedding was held at a wedding venue on private property, elopements in Mt. Hood National Forest require a special use permit. The great news is that the permits are free!

If you do choose to elope, I recommend choosing a weekday like this couple did! It gives you much more flexibility, and avoiding crowds is much easier!
