Few places have a more perfect, moody vibe than the Oregon Coast. I always recommend to my couples to choose locations that hold significance in their relationship, but sometimes, couples just want to go somewhere beautiful and create new memories! This Oregon Coast session was the latter, and even years later remains one of my favorites. The coast holds a huge piece of my heart; it has healed my hurts and anxieties more times than one.
Wow, excuse me, I could make this a much more emotional blog post all about the coast’s significance in my life, but let’s refocus on the two this is really about.
Who: Rose & Daniel
What: Wedding Portrait Session
When: September 6, 2020
Where: Oregon Coast
Why: When you’re forced to cancel your dream wedding, you run off to the coast instead!
Originally planning a wedding for July, Rose and Daniel decided to have a small backyard wedding in Georgia where Rose is from. She got a new dress since hers wouldn’t arrive in time, and once they were back in the PNW, I suggested we meet at the Oregon Coast for some portraits.
I could not have asked for a better night with these new friends! We enjoyed a few PBR’s and then ran around the foggy, rocky beach. It was truly the best time. I honestly don’t think I could ever get sick of shooting there.
