If you’re lucky enough to be planning your wedding in Hood River or somewhere nearby in the Gorge, you might be looking for lodging, and if it’s your wedding night, you definitely should treat yourself to a stay somewhere really nice! In my opinion, these are the most amazing places to stay in Hood River, many of which have had major upgrades in the last few years!
Heads up, this post includes places on both the Oregon and Washington sides of the Gorge, so be sure to check the distances to your venue so you can find the best place to the spend the night!
Most Unique Places to Stay
Ruby June Inn
The Ruby June is unbelievably beautiful. Chris & Gretchen completely transformed this little inn into something truly special and sweet with custom ceramics and perfectly curated, unique rooms. If you’re lucky enough to book one of their chef dinners, you might have a hard time ever leaving. They also offer a great wine selection, and as former owners of a Seattle wine bar, you can trust that you’re in for a treat!
Klickitat Treehouse
Yes, it’s actually a treehouse. The trendiest, most amazing treehouse you could imagine. Complete with mountain views and Wolf Ceramics, you’ll be living in a dream when you wake up among the treetops. (p.s. can somebody please build one of these in my backyard??)
Hotels and BnBs You’ll Love
Hood River Hotel
You may be familiar with the Jupiter Hotel in Portland who gave the Hood River Hotel an upgrade in 2017. This hotel is the oldest hotel in Hood River, but you would honestly never know. Each room is different; there are even locally themed rooms such as the pFriem Brewery Suite and the Evoke Winery Suite.
Society Hotel
Another amazing transformation, the Society Hotel was a schoolhouse nestled in Bingen, WA (right across the bridge from Hood River). The hotel has a room for everyone: private rooms for the traveling couple and hostel-style bunkrooms for the backpacker. There’s a spa with options for a hot soak, cold plunge, or saltwater soak. There’s also a cafe and a stunning library area for reading a book or catching up on some emails by the fireplace.
Sakura Ridge
This bed and breakfast boasts stunning mountain views and a 70 acre orchard. Breakfasts are made with ingredients from their own farm. And did I mention the bathroom floors are heated? This place is a true gem.
Lodge 902
Rent a room or rent the whole lodge for up to 16 people! This lodge has such amazing vintage styling; it really couldn’t be more Hood River if you ask me. It’s the PERFECT place for your wedding party to stay!
Airbnbs That Impress
Camp Randonnee (Cabin #1, Cabin #2, Cabin #3, Cabin #4) – These adorable, modern cabins are located in Mosier! Just a short drive from Hood River and conveniently located by Cafe Randonnee where you can grab a fantastic cup of coffee!
Cabin 43 on the White Salmon River
